After receiving many inquiries on how to set up a safe environment for kids to enjoy the internet, I came across a free add-on for the Firefox browser calld Glubble.
By using the Glubble add-on and Firefox, you can control and lock down what your children are surfing for on the internet. This product was designed for elementary aged children and is free.
You will need to install the Firefox browser, the Glubble extension, and disable access to Internet Explore to secure your computer.
